If you’re looking for an off-campus housing option, you have a few different choices. You can choose to live in a house, an apartment, or even a condo. There are benefits and drawbacks to each option, so it’s important to consider what’s best for you before making a decision.
Houses: Living in a house gives you more space than an apartment, and you usually have your own backyard. This is a great option if you have pets or want to entertain guests. However, houses can be more expensive than other options, and they require more maintenance.
Apartments: Apartments are typically less expensive than houses and require less maintenance. They’re also closer to campus, which can be convenient. However, apartments are usually smaller than houses, so you’ll have less space.
Condos: Condos are similar to apartments in terms of price and size. They’re also usually closer to campus. One advantage of condos is that they often come with amenities like pools and fitness centers.
